This is a picture of a creature created using fruits and vegetables using photoshop CS3.
The purpose was to utilize the selections tools we learned during the Melonhead project and incorporate them into an independent project. I used the different types of selection tools to create this image. I’m glad I was able to grasp the basics of photoshop. Although I was stumped as to what I should make for a creature, I started playing around with different fruits and started mixing and matching. I had a lot of fun creating some random figures. I named my creature Euphy because I saw the creature as a happy and serene creature. I didn’t want to give my Creature a trite name like sunshine or bliss; so I named it Euphy – short for Euphoria. Knowing the selection tools alone, can benefit me in the future.
